King's Legacy -- Martin Luther King Assembly 2013
Pre-Production
As a production group, Tristan Moore, Josh Helzerman, and I Got together several times to plan out lists of shots, and write this 'script', which was later used as the narration to the video. Other than basic planning and brain storming, the amount of pre-production for this project was minimal, due to the short amount of time we had to make it.
Production
For 3 weeks, Helzerman and I took various cameras and filmed not only throughout the valley--used as b-roll--, but also several interviews to use in the video. Most of the time, he would film with a mono-pod resting on the ground, while I would get free, moving shots, using a smaller mono-pod for stability. Over all, this was a fun film to produce and very exciting to present to the school.
