Every year, Mount Si High School has the honor of housing a group of exchange students from Japan. This year, the opportunity was presented to me to help give them a tour of Seattle-The Land of Coffee. None of the pictures above, however, have any of the exchange students as their subject. This is because I didn't feel it was right to upload their pictures to a personal website without their permission. All in all, this was quite a memorable experience that taught me volumes about framing pictures and using linear objects to help guide the picture to its subject. Aside from that it really improved my skills with the Canon Rebel T2i. It has gotten a lot easier, and I have gotten a lot faster at changing the settings to appropriate levels, and even framing pictures to look their best. I hope to be presented with more opportunities like this which require me to make quick decisions with a camera. I truly believe that this would help improve my skills in many areas of photography and film.
