Snoqualmie Valley School's Foundation
As a class, we were asked to make a video for the Snoqualmie Valley School's Foundation depicting the way that each of the grants given to us was used. The videos were each assigned to a different student. My job was to make the intro and conclusion which would go at the very beginning and end of the over all video. Making a video out of past footage, without being able to get any of my own, or adding anything newer than what I was given, was a process which forced me to be flexible. Due to the type of video that I usually edit, being restricted to such footage was frustrating and the possibilities were greatly limited. I think the biggest bit of knowledge that I took from this is that sometimes simple is better, and that trying to make everything complicated doesn't always result in it being better. I don't think I would do anything different if I had to do it again.
